Facility Considerations
① As the steel mesh skeleton plastic composite pipe is a new type of pipe material, there is no special specification and procedure in the country. The design can refer to the Code for Design of Oil and Gas Gathering and Transportation in Oil Fields (SY/T0004-98) [1] and its enterprise standard Technical Rules for Installation Engineering of Steel Framed Plastic Composite Pipe (Q/TIDC 03-98) [2] for design.
② Due to the connection mode and pre processing characteristics of the steel skeleton composite pipe, the dimensional accuracy of the complex process construction drawing is required to be high, which belongs to the high-precision prefabricated type. Any change in size and direction will lead to extension of construction period and increase of cost. This requires designers to accurately draw construction drawings, especially for some reconstruction projects, and to achieve accurate and reliable data.
Construction precautions
① The operation of clad pipe shall be carried out in strict accordance with the installation procedure of clad pipe, and operators shall receive pre job training
② The acceptance, storage and transportation of pipes and fittings shall be strictly carried out according to the construction specifications of composite pipes.
③ When installing pipes, attention shall be paid to bending greater than the allowable radius of curvature during connection; When laying on the ground, pipe buttresses and supports shall be built first. When laying underground, the pipe trench shall be opened and straight, and there shall be no rocks or gravels at the bottom of the trench. When backfilling, sand or plain soil shall be used to backfill to 0.3m, compacted in layers, and then the undisturbed soil shall be backfilled; Connect pipes or fittings in strict accordance with the requirements.
