Before backfilling, the buried depth of composite pipeline shall be confirmed to ensure that it meets the requirements of KPS, because only when the buried depth is sufficient, can the pipeline be effectively protected to ensure its service life.
Non load bearing lane area
The pipe shall be buried at its top at least 300 mm (250 mm when reinforced concrete is used) from the ground where the final carriageway is laid.
Load bearing lane area
The landfill depth shall be increased to a minimum of 600mm in areas where the weight of running vehicles reaches 60 tons. If the driving vehicle is more than 60 tons, it needs to be buried deeper.
At some reconstruction station project sites, due to some special geographical conditions, some pipelines are too shallow to meet the requirements of KPS composite pipeline burial depth. At this time, the purpose of protecting the pipeline needs to be achieved by adding a steel protective net above the pipeline.
The specific reconstruction steps are as follows:
Place 150mm evenly on the cushion on both sides of the pipeline along the pipeline route × 150mm × 150mm concrete pier, as the support of channel steel, the spacing between two adjacent groups of concrete piers should be 1m~1.5m;
According to the actual distance of the site, cut 10 # channel steel of corresponding length as required, and place it evenly on the cement pier;
