Manual scraper (glass plate) shall be used for operation. As the wall of small diameter pipe is thin, as long as the oxide layer is removed, attention should be paid to the operation details to improve the construction efficiency.
When removing the oxide layer, the whole periphery shall be scraped evenly, and all aspects shall be considered, without missing scraping. The scraping length is 30mm larger than the depth of cylinder socket. The inner wall of pipe fittings also needs cleaning. Small diameter pipe fittings can be cleaned by sprinkling water, and large diameter pipe fittings can be cleaned by scraping. Due to the copper effect on the inner wall of pipe fittings, it is recommended to use manual scraping instead of electric grinding. When electric grinding is used, soft grinding plate shall be used to avoid exposed copper wire.
