After the installation of PE steel wire mesh skeleton pipe, in order to test its construction quality and later use effect. Hydrostatic test is usually carried out, including strength test and tightness test. The purpose of strength test is to check the mechanical performance of the pipeline, and the purpose of tightness test is to check the connection quality of the pipeline.
Purge or flush the pipeline before pressure test. The pipeline length of pressure test can be carried out in sections or along the whole line. According to the specific situation, it can be agreed by relevant units. The hydraulic test method shall be adopted for the test, and the pipeline tightness test and strength test must be conducted with water as the medium.
Before the hydrostatic test of PE steel wire mesh skeleton pipe, the design of water source connection and drainage dredging route shall be done according to the site conditions. The strength test pressure is equal to 1.5 times of the working pressure, and the low pressure should not be less than 0.8MPa. Observe under the test pressure for 15min, and the pressure drop should not be greater than 0 02MPa, then reduce to the working pressure and maintain the constant pressure for 30min. If there is no water leakage in the appearance inspection, the strength test can be judged as qualified.
Tightness test: after the strength test is qualified, the tightness test shall be carried out immediately (if the strength test is qualified, the tightness test may not be carried out). When the pressure rises to the working pressure, maintain the pressure for 1 hour. If there is a pressure drop, water can be added to the specified test pressure. If the pressure drop within 15min does not exceed 0.05MPa, it is deemed that the tightness test of PE wire mesh skeleton pipe is qualified.
